- Sketching ideas
We start from observation to develop a discourse in the form of light and intentionality. We provide atmosphere with two science fiction light sources and we have fun studying ambience light and its rebounds. Study, study and more study.
- Face – Color
In this extensive video we will see the importance of Light and the color that our palette will bring us. We will paint without black, our black will be the mixture of the primaries. A very interesting exercise to free our brain. We will start from primaries until we find a skin full of nuances that we will then unify. We unite mind and heart to create something more complete by studying references and letting ourselves be carried when it is time.
- Unifying with airbrush
In a very fast way, we unify by airbrush to show you something that I have not tested for a long time. Once clean, we return to maximum volumes with “light and shadow points”. Everything is in the small details.
- Fluorescent light
We sketch with white by airbrush so that the Magenta Fluor is absorbed and has high illumination. We create a light that attracts attention and provides a futuristic atmosphere.
- Eyes and makeup
We focus on one of the most important areas of the figure: the look. We study the different aspects that creates it: the direction, color, eyelids, eyebrows and wrinkles. Everything to create emotions. We throw ourselves into the pool with an eighties makeup that will attract the attention to the lips.
- Multicolor hair
We create a palette with small variations of the base tone of the hair to play with color, distance, temperature, complementaries and Light. All this will matter little when reason vanishes and we paint with our hearts.
- Making decisions
In this introduction we will investigate deeply in the possible options of color and we will be discarding the worst and staying with the best. We will be inspired and we will study the work of the great Danign 86.
- Painting the green armor
After having thought about it all we decided on a green with purple shades allowing the magenta to be protagonist creating contrast by complementary colors in a global and visible way.
- Creating the magenta light
We paint a light that guides the viewer’s attention upwards, coming from inside the armor and that affects the face giving it a science fiction looking.
- Non metallic metal – Aluminum
We paint the metal with a simple technique representing aluminum and its reflections.
- Cast shadows that fade
We will paint thesuit taking into account the projected shadows that your body generates and we will learn to blur them in areas of light in a very simple way. A very interesting topic that we will study more from here on.
