- How to copy color palettes, color theory, complementary, temperature, saturation and contrast
In this 34 minute video I talk about how to copy color palettes starting with not copying them and knowing how the color behaves without using color bottles. I speak about the theory of color, its creator was right to put all the colors desaturated, buy a notebook and note the colors that fits well together. I speak of how to degrade with temperature, saturation and contrast depending on the type of texture of each zone. Very interesting to remember this from time to time

Hey there, do you always use glaze medium when you make your glazes?? and how much glaze medium do you use
Aythami Alonso Torrent says
Hi Michael,
This was an experiment and another way to teach you how to paint and do wet blending. I normally do glazes without medium, only water.
Depending on the transparency of the stroke I want to make I use more or less water(Medium). Good thing about the sketching technique is that if you go to much thick you can then unify with a wash and you correct it. Have a look at the Tyrion Lannister beginners video where I show you all the dissolutions.
Cheers!
